Project Description
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an active, time-limited and structured approach that may be used to treat a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, stress, phobias, anger, and diminished self esteem.
Cognitive therapy is based on the idea that your feelings and behaviors are determined by the way you think about yourself, your future, and the world in general. Your thinking is based on attitudes or assumptions developed from previous experiences.Therapeutic techniques in CBT are designed to teach you to identify, evaluate and correct your negative thinking or negative self-talk, thus changing negative behaviors.
